The grey, the cats, the looks

November 19, 2011

It’s grey, it’s spitting, it’s mild. When the sky is overcast, the colors take on aesthetic value, the ugliest objects brighten us up and wake us up from our sleep. Autumn is enjoying itself in the grayness. The plants fall asleep and their breath, full of deliquescent substances, soothes our senses.

I came across a few glances, including that of a young worker lifting a concrete slab and smiling at me. When it is grey, all eyes are in the colors of envy, and cats chameleonize in the fall.
